New patients are most welcome and usually have an initial check-up and consultation. This involves taking past medical and dental history and some radiographs are usually taken. A comprehensive dental treatment is then prepared with all the information gathered. This is then discussed, in detail, with the patient. If necessary, various choices of alternative treatment would be offered to the patient and a written estimate of dental fees would be provided. Patients can then take this away and make an informed decision as to whether they wish to have any recommended treatment carried out.

Many people are frightened of the dentist and put off going for their dental treatment. These fears are often deep seated and stem back from childhood experiences. We recognise these fears and take special measures to help you overcome any apprehension. Fear is often caused by the unknown. In order to allay this, we explain the proposed treatment to you in simple terms and encourage you to participate in the treatment planning process.

Charles F. Hudson, D.D.S.
Dr. Hudson practices general dentistry and was the founder of Dental Plus, LLC in 1976 where he continues working to date. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Science at McNeese State University and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at LSU Medical Center School of Dentistry.

Dr. Hudson is a member of the American Dental Association, Southwest Louisiana District Dental Association, and the Louisiana Dental Association. He is also active in the Rotary International and missions. He attends Grace Church in DeRidder, LA.

Dr. Hudson is married with children and grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, flying, sailing and traveling.

Warren J. Thomas, D.D.S.
Dr. Thomas practices general dentistry and orthodontics, and has been in practice for 15 years, 13 of which have been with Dental Plus LLC in DeRidder, LA. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at McNeese State University, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at LSU Medical Center School of Dentistry.

Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the American Orthodontic Society.

Dr. Thomas is married and has one child.

Grace Ferdinandsen, D.D.S.
Dr. Ferdinandsen practices general dentistry and has been in practice for 18 years, three of which have been with Dental Plus, LLC in DeRidder, LA. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at McNeese State University and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at LSU Medical Center School of Dentistry.

Dr. Ferdinandsen is married and has one child. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and fishing.

Raj Guarya, D.D.S., M.D.



	Sandra Culp, D.D.S. Dr. Culp practices general dentistry and has been in practice for 11 years, seven of which have been with Dental Plus, LLC in Leesville, LA. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in General Science at the University of Central Arkansas and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at LSU Medical Center School of Dentistry. Dr. Culp is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and is also active in the Women’s League. When not working with patients, Dr. Culp enjoys spending time with her family, friends, pets and enjoys ballroom dancing.
