New patients are most welcome and usually have an initial check-up and consultation. This involves taking past medical and dental history and some radiographs are usually taken. A comprehensive dental treatment is then prepared with all the information gathered. This is then discussed, in detail, with the patient. If necessary, various choices of alternative treatment would be offered to the patient and a written estimate of dental fees would be provided. Patients can then take this away and make an informed decision as to whether they wish to have any recommended treatment carried out.

Many people are frightened of the dentist and put off going for their dental treatment. These fears are often deep seated and stem back from childhood experiences. We recognise these fears and take special measures to help you overcome any apprehension. Fear is often caused by the unknown. In order to allay this, we explain the proposed treatment to you in simple terms and encourage you to participate in the treatment planning process.
